Únicla, la primera leche cero emisiones
Siempre lo hemos dicho: Únicla es diferente al resto de leches convencionales y es única desde su origen 100% gallego y 100% natural, desde la alimentación de las vacas.
Ese “punto de partida” ha dado lugar a una leche con un sabor distintivo que ha sido premiado con el “Taste Award”. Por otro lado, también se ha visto reconocido su compromiso con el ganado y su bienestar, mediante la certificación AENOR, así como con el medio ambiente, ostentando, hasta ahora, el “Sello Carbón Neutral” (reducción a 0 de la emisiones de CO2 en el proceso de fabricación del envase) y el “Sello AENOR Huella de Carbono” (reducción de un 20% las emisiones de CO2 en el proceso productivo de la leche).
Ahora, Únicla es más única que nunca: estamos muy orgullosos de comunicaros que somos la primera leche CERO EMISIONES, compensando el total de las emisiones de la producción de envase y la leche, restaurando bosques que han sufrido incendios.

En Únicla trabajamos cada año por reducir nuestra huella ambiental, y hemos conseguido ser la primera leche cero emisiones de CO2, compensándolas totalmente tanto para el envase como para la producción de la leche entera de 1 litro.
Todo esto lo conseguimos restaurando bosques quemados en nuestro país, concretamente en Galicia, nuestro origen, a través del acuerdo firmado con la Fundación Arume para compensar las emisiones de la producción de leche. Y gracias a nuestros envases Elopak, que están certificados en Carbon Neutral, compensando así todo el CO2 de su fabricación.
Además de esto, como ya sabéis, cada año reducimos las emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera en un 20% frente a leches convencionales y nuestros envases y tapón están hechos con residuos forestales renovables, con resina de pino, con un 86% de origen vegetal.
Proyecto CERO EMISIONES, en cifras.
- Hemos restaurado 92,47 hectáreas de bosques: unos 924.700 metros cuadrados.
- Hemos compensado 4.562 toneladas de CO2: el equivalente a…¡948 vueltas al mundo en avión!
- Hemos replantado más de 100.000 árboles: es decir, alrededor de unos 129 campos de fútbol.
Y esto… ¡es solo el principio!
Actualmente el proyecto sólo se aplica a la variedad de nuestra leche entera. ¿El motivo? Se trata la primera alianza de carácter privado para la restauración ambiental de los montes gallegos afectados por incendios a través de la plantación de especies autóctonas entre los sectores forestal y agroganadero, siendo un hito en materia medioambiental y con la intención de que sea sólo el comienzo de esta colaboración, para que, año tras año, podamos ir ampliando para abarcar más productos de Únicla.
