The label is the cover letter of a food product and is fully regulated, so knowing how to interpret them correctly is key to any diet and helps us to be more diligent about what we eat.

Below we will show you how to read the labels on different Únicla products.

List of ingredients:

It should include all the ingredients and in decreasing order of weight, and allergens should be highlighted, in our case, in bold.

Origin of the product.

Product name and net quantity.

They must appear in the same visual field.

Table of nutritional information:

  • Mandatory information: energy value, fats (of which saturated), carbohydrates (of which sugars*), proteins, salt*. 
  • Optional information: monounsaturated fatty acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, calcium, selenium and omega 3.

Additional information:

Nutrition and health claims, only where demonstrated by meaningful studies.
