At what age can cow’s milk be first consumed?

It’s safe to give cow’s milk to children over one. For babies in their first year, cow’s milk does not provide enough nutrients for their bodies.

Babies aged one or two should drink only full-cream milk, which will provide the fat their brains need, and from two years onwards they can drink low-fat milk or even skimmed milk if they are overweight.
